UiB should be a place where you can think freely, live well and look ahead.
Liberal Liste is a student political list at the University of Bergen. We believe in the individual’s freedom and right to shape their own student life. For us, student politics is about removing barriers and creating real opportunities for everyone.
We believe that finances should never stand in the way of education. Student grants must increase, student housing must become more available and affordable, and everyday life must be predictable. At the same time, we want UiB to give students a solid foundation for working life, through more internships, better career guidance and closer collaboration with industry.
We fight for an open and inclusive university where everyone feels welcome, regardless of background. Privacy, freedom of expression and academic freedom are core values we will always defend. We also take climate seriously and want UiB to lead by example.

Our top candidates
We, The Social Democratic List, wish to represent all the different faculties at UiB in the student elections of 2026. We strive for an inclusive and fair academic life where freedom, equality, and solidarity reflect our core values. We want a university where all students, regardless of background, have equal opportunities and conditions to complete their education in a pleasant and sustainable learning environment.
In this year’s election, we are particularly focusing on two issues: improving economic transparency, and better the internships, where they are provided.
We do not think that todays´ internship practices are good enough. Therefore, we want to implement written cause for failing, and concrete demands for feedback underways. We want to implement this and better internships for UiBs students.
Have you ever experienced changes in the study plan, without being informed? Lack of communication and transparency concerning decisions on studies may lead to uncertainty with the students. That is why it is necessary with a change in todays´ economic communication.
Our top candidates
Studentlisten (The Student List) has emerged as an alternative in response to the lack of impactful, student-centered lists. While other lists often build on ideological affiliations and have clear parallels to political parties in the Norwegian Parliament, we have one starting point: the students at UiB.
We believe that student politics should first and foremost be about listening to students and working towards concrete improvements in their everyday lives. That is why we have chosen to focus on two main priorities in this election campaign that we know have a significant impact on students: student volunteering and the physical learning environment.
Student volunteering is a cornerstone of student life. It creates a sense of belonging, helps prevent loneliness, and provides valuable experience. However, many organizations rely on uncertain funding and limited resources. Studentlisten will work to ensure better conditions and more predictable support, so that student volunteering can remain an inclusive and sustainable part of student life.
We also want to improve the physical learning environment on campus. Good study spaces, access to water dispensers, better air quality, and a more inclusive campus are essential for both well-being and learning. Students must also have a real say in how campus spaces are developed.
Studentlisten works for a study experience that is better adapted to students’ needs – both academically and socially.
Our top candidates
We in the Left Alliance are a solidarity list that are the alternative for you if you don’t want your bank account to be the deciding factor for whether you have a good life as a student. Therefore, we need cheaper and more available books and other curriculum, and that economic support for students increases.
We are also the safest choice in prioritizing international solidarity at UiB. Especially in Palestine, people are supressed, killed and committed sexual violence against in a brutal apartheid-regime. Academic boycott of Israel is the only option in showing our support, but despite our efforts, the board of the university doesn’t want to listen to us. We had an academic boycott against South Africa, we must have it against Israel as well.
Therefore, we want your support so that we can keep on fighting for our causes, because no one is free, until everyone is free!
